WHO WE ARE

There’s something about unwavering curiosity—it’s familiar and unnerving. Curiosity requires bravery, but it takes you to a place of real beauty.

Loretta is named after Christie’s mother. We live with her library. The smell of old books never dissipates. Her words are inside of every book—small script scratched in the margins—questions and thoughts about the world and what it means to be human. Pottery from New Mexico, old photographs, faded memories, and the ever present idea that surrounding yourself with objects that hold stories makes you feel both grounded in your past and connected to your future.

Our friends called her “Mama Lo”. We called her Gems. Loretta was a person who lined her life with layers of words, art, travel and history. She taught us the power of big dreams, and inspired us with the courage to go after them.

We dedicate this adventure to her. A poet, a rock star, a 70’s beauty, a lover —Loretta was a person who lived.

Loretta is founded by mother and son duo Christie Turk and Dylan Turk. See information about their fine art advisory company Curated by KIN below.
